The result of IGN’s 2017 acquisition starts to show.   Yesterday, Humble Bundle announced that they’re converting their Humble Monthly subscription programme to Humble Choice.   Humble Monthly traditionally worked like a loot crate. It gave you a bunch of mystery games for a reoccurring subscription fee but showcasing and giving you at least one major game to play right away for that month. The rest of the games would be locked until they are revealed after the last day of being able to sign up for a month’s respective bundle.   Now, Humble Bundle is doing away with the original, straight-forward subscription plan and has now given us four tiers of Humble Monthly…oh, wait, I mean Humble “Choice”. (눈_눈) Thus adding confusion to what was initially a simple subscription process.     Benefits?   Well, honestly…there’s next to none.   One of the new “benefits” of Humble Choice is…

I know I shouldn’t get super excited, but it’s getting really hard to.   EA released a new trailer video for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order featuring protagonist ‘Cal Kesitis’. The trailer shows us what to expect from the game’s campaign, and wow, it looks like it’s going to be a phenomenal, high-stakes adventure.      I know I didn’t really have to make a whole article for just one trailer, but if you didn’t already know: I’m pretty hyped for this game. And this masterful trailer that set the tone of the game’s story made me not able to resist.   Plus, I’m going through some strong hypergraphia so it also works out for me. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯   We get another look at Jedi Fallen Order’s  Dark Souls-esque combat, different from the game’s spiritual predecessor; Star Wars: The Force Unleashed.   Previously I didn’t know really know who this…

Respawn’s new Star Wars game is helping clean EA’s murky reputation with gamers.   While I wasn’t aware of this at all, there was an EA Play event where they showed gameplay from the upcoming Stars Wars game: Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order. And I’ll admit, it does look like it’s going to be a pretty remarkable game.      When I saw the trailer for the game back in April, I was genuinely excited. After the controversies of the last two Battlefront games from EA, gamers had lost all hope that EA could do right by the Star Wars brand, so much so that many were hoping Disney would swoop in to sever their contract with EA after the loot box backlash. That didn’t happen, and in a surprising twist of events, Disney was mindbogglingly happy with EA’s treatment of the franchise.   I can only speculate that…

“The world thinks we’re making Titanfall 3 and we’re not – this is what we’re making”,- Lead Producer, Drew McCoy.  As someone who was highly anticipating Titanfall 3, I can’t help but feel upset when I woke up to the news that Respawn Entertainment isn’t just not making Titanfall 3, but they’re releasing a new battle royale game called Apex Legends. [Source] I don’t really have anything personal against battle royale games, but it is getting a bit irksome that every developer or publisher feels the need to make a battle royale game ever since the huge success of Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds and Fortnite. Multiplayer just isn’t my cup of tea. When marketing for the original Titanfall game began, I really didn’t pay much attention to it. It was a first person shooter game similar to the likes of Call of Duty, and when I heard by word of mouth that it barely had a…
