[Review] Far Cry 5 – The Most Memorable Far Cry Game Yet.
A wild ride of a game marred only by its ending. If only you knew how much I’ve been dying to play this game since revisiting Far Cry 4 a few months ago. I once reviewed Far Cry 4 and talked about the issues I had with it, but I didn’t expect it to rekindle my love for the franchise again two years after buying it. While I was excited for Far Cry 5 on its initial release, I couldn’t afford to get it at full price and I wasn’t sure when I would get it either. A year later though, and it’s about time I did. There was no way I was buying it on Uplay however, so I waited until it went on sale on Steam, and after weeks of patient, Ubisoft had a publisher sale on March 21st. I instantly added it to my cart!…
Filip Miucin Deserves A Second Chance, Although I Remain Skeptical.
Better late than never? Filip Miucin was one of the biggest gaming controversies of 2018. He wrote a review of the game Dead Cells for IGN to which it would be later discovered that he plagiarised his review from Boomstick Gaming, a youtube content creator. After this, he would be unsurprisingly fired from IGN. However, it didn’t end there. The gaming community would then later find out that he plagiarised numerous other sources after he taunted his accusers with his first video reaction to the backlash, which has been since taken down. Oh, by the way, don’t ever dare the internet to do anything, especially if you know you’re very guilty. The internet is a den of evidence and it will not end well. From what I understand, it would be a couple of months later until Filip came back out of hiding for…
[Review] Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles.
I’m sorry, it just misses the mark one too many times.
I apologise to the developers if my review came off a bit too harsh. It kinda pains me to write this review because Yonder: The Clouder Catcher Chronicles is one game I really didn’t want to say anything bad about.
[Tech Review] Doogee X5 Max Pro: Squandered by technical issues.
When I ordered the DOOGEE X5 Max (the predecessor to the X5 Max Pro) last year, it was literally the best phone I ever had. It was very well built with its design and it offered nice features for its $60 USD price. Unfortunately that phone came to an end when it was involved in a mishap that got it ran over by a car, leaving the screen to gradually blackout entirely until it was completely useless. I was obviously upset, but no worries, I could just get the X5 Max again. But this time, I’m getting its upgraded version: the DOOGEE X5 Max Pro! The same great phone with even better specs/performance. How could it go wrong? Oh, it can. And it did. First off, I have to mention that I ordered this phone from AliExpress, as it is important. The phone eventually arrives and it seemed pretty fine…
