You Can Pre-Load ‘Destiny 2’ Right Now On Steam For Next Week.
Oof, but that file size though ( ̄ ̄|||). After game developer Bungie celebrated splitting ways with Activision, they were able to procure the Destiny IP and have now taken to essentially ‘re-publish’ the game on their own terms on the Steam PC gaming platform. This is something that was much needed after Destiny 2’s tumultuous post-launch with the whole XP throttling controversy back in 2017. Now going forward this means that those who were originally playing on the Battle.net game launcher, where Activision Blizzard’s top games reside, are going to be moving their game data over to Steam via the Bungie.net website. If you haven’t, you should read up on the whole process on Bungie’s website before the game launches next week on October 1st. Bungie has reassured to making the migration as easy as possible. I can confirm that it was pretty painless considering that I…
KFC’s Colonel Sanders Dating Sim Is Here And I Still Can’t Believe It Exists.
And it’s free! I came across the ‘I Love You, Colonel Sanders! A Finger Lickin’ Good Dating Simulator‘ steam page by developer ‘Psyop’ earlier this month and the first thing I thought of was “it’s a fan-made parody game”. Oh boy, was I wrong. KFC actually greenlit a Colonel Sanders dating sim?! Oh my god. Of course it’s purely for marketing and notoriety, but it’s still amazing that they funded something for such a niche gaming audience (although that also means it wouldn’t have cost too much to make compared to something on a grander scale). With Wendy’s roasting people on Twitter and Arby’s making stellar cardboard artwork, KFC needed to find their…
Joy-Con Drift Affects The Nintendo Switch Lite, Thus I Won’t Be Buying It.
The lack of docking makes it an even harder sell. When Nintendo announced the Nintendo Switch Lite, people were concerned that the system may suffer from “Joy-Con Drift”, an issue where the analog sticks of the Nintendo Switch would register movement even though they were not being physically tilted. This was something that usually occur after repeated use of the system. Gamers were hoping Nintendo would have fixed the issue with the Nintendo Switch Lite before it released considering that you can’t remove the joy-cons unlike with the original Nintendo Switch model. If that was the case, then you wouldn’t need to worry about replacing the entire system, and even though it may be pretty expensive ($80USD for a new set), you would just need to buy a new pair of Joy-Cons for your Nintendo Switch. Unfortunately, Nintendo seems to be living in La-La Land again as…
