♀FemGamer: Jotun: Valhalla Edition
I honestly think that Jotun: Valhalla Edition is my favourite “difficult” game of all time, and that’s coming from someone who hates difficult games. I got this game for free in some kind of giveaway and I almost feel guilty that I didn’t pay for it myself. From the Steam page: “In Jotun, you play Thora, a Viking warrior who died an inglorious death and must prove herself to the Gods to enter Valhalla.” Jotun has the best boss fights I’ve ever experience in a game. Combine intense music, bosses that will wreck your s**t up if you’re not careful and add some of the finest hand drawn animation you will get to experience in a game. ♀FemGamer: Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition
As you may already know, Devil May Cry 5 was just recently announced at E3, and quite frankly, I almost lost it. Do you know how badly I loved Devil May Cry 4 as a teen? I swear when I played it was the absolute best thing in the world and nothing could compare to its greatness. The hack and slash gameplay that has you fighting demon enemies is just phenomenal and makes you feel amazing when you can pull off the most brutal combos. The only game I’ve played that has matched the intense style of Devil May Cry is Bayonetta, but I was only able to play the Wii U Demo for Bayonetta 2.
