Respawn’s new Star Wars game is helping clean EA’s murky reputation with gamers.   While I wasn’t aware of this at all, there was an EA Play event where they showed gameplay from the upcoming Stars Wars game: Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order. And I’ll admit, it does look like it’s going to be a pretty remarkable game.      When I saw the trailer for the game back in April, I was genuinely excited. After the controversies of the last two Battlefront games from EA, gamers had lost all hope that EA could do right by the Star Wars brand, so much so that many were hoping Disney would swoop in to sever their contract with EA after the loot box backlash. That didn’t happen, and in a surprising twist of events, Disney was mindbogglingly happy with EA’s treatment of the franchise.   I can only speculate that…

RWBY: Grimm Eclipse RWBY deserves better than this. Oh wow. Where do I even begin to sort out this mess? This is one game that should’ve stayed in early access, but RWBY: Grimm Eclipse needs way more than just more time in the oven. The Story “Play as Ruby, Weiss, Blake, and Yang in this character-driven adventure that explores new storylines, new Grimm types, and a new villain!”, it says on the game’s steam store page. They made it sound way more interesting than it actually is. I wasn’t even sure if there was even a story until I read the game’s wiki. RWBY: Grimm Eclipse starts off with next to no information in terms of narrative, thus leading to a poorly structured plot. Honestly it feels like it was created out of nessecity to have something along with the gameplay and to give RWBY fans something to play through…

I honestly think that Jotun: Valhalla Edition is my favourite “difficult” game of all time, and that’s coming from someone who hates difficult games. I got this game for free in some kind of giveaway and I almost feel guilty that I didn’t pay for it myself.   From the Steam page: “In Jotun, you play Thora, a Viking warrior who died an inglorious death and must prove herself to the Gods to enter Valhalla.”     Jotun has the best boss fights I’ve ever experience in a game. Combine intense music, bosses that will wreck your s**t up if you’re not careful and add some of the finest hand drawn animation you will get to experience in a game. And right there, you have a recipe for the most exhilarating boss fights ever.   The art style is really good and best shows in the game’s bosses in my opinion. I…

When I first played God Eater 2 Rage Burst, I wasn’t expecting to love it as I did. I did hear a lot of comparisons to Monster Hunter and my thoughts of Monster Hunter as a game are rather mixed, but despite that I fell in love God Eater 2. This is the game that the Monster Hunter series should be.   To start off, you have the choice of a customisable character, male or female. It’s pretty much like the Monster Hunter avatar creator where you can change any physical part of your character, including their voice. Something that’s also really neat is that the game has two versions of their opening cinematic (it’s really freaking amazing and suggest you watch it ASAP): one with a male character avatar at the end of it and one with a female.   Now for one of my favourite parts of the game: There are…
