Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order’s Gameplay Looks Stellar. EA Redeemed?
Respawn’s new Star Wars game is helping clean EA’s murky reputation with gamers. While I wasn’t aware of this at all, there was an EA Play event where they showed gameplay from the upcoming Stars Wars game: Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order. And I’ll admit, it does look like it’s going to be a pretty remarkable game. When I saw the trailer for the game back in April, I was genuinely excited. After the controversies of the last two Battlefront games from EA, gamers had lost all hope that EA could do right by the Star Wars brand, so much so that many were hoping Disney would swoop in to sever their contract with EA after the loot box backlash. That didn’t happen, and in a surprising twist of events, Disney was mindbogglingly happy with EA’s treatment of the franchise. I can only speculate that…
What Is That Song From The Pokémon Direct This Morning?!
Here comes a brand new world!! It starts at 0:23 and ends at 3:00! Here comes a brand new world! HERE COMES A BRAND NEW WORLD!! Let’s find a new way to unite! ( ̄▽ ̄)/♫•*¨*•.¸¸♪ OMG! Help, I can’t get it out of my head! T_T It’s so freaking catchy!! It seems to be an unreleased song considering I can’t find it anywhere using google. It doesn’t help that I can’t make out most of the lyrics. On another note… …I’m really excited for Pokémon Sword and Shield now! If you’ve seen the direct, the series is transitioning to a more open-world style of play! And we’re going to have freaking kaiju battles!! o(≧▽≦)o But still getting a Nintendo Switch is going to be pretty expensive. (≧д≦ヾ) Maybe I should start saving for one now? If I work hard on commissions I…
The Sonic Movie Is Getting Delayed And I Could Not Be Happier.
It almost feels unreal. If you were one of the unfortunate people to bear witness to the Sonic the Hedgehog movie trailer, then you’re probably aware just how…umm…“unique” Sonic looks in the upcoming movie. And If you haven’t, then now is a good time to see why the internet isn’t so happy with Sonic’s live-action design. When I saw the trailer myself, my reaction could be summarised as: “Good lord, what the f**k is that thing?!! IS THAT SONIC?!” ∑(O_O;) Sonic in the movie looks like something that escaped out of a nightmare realm, which is ironic since I’m sure the movie is targeted towards kids. If you’ve grown up playing Sonic games like me, it’s almost painful seeing one of gaming’s most iconic characters bastardised in such a way. Just how did something like this even leave the drawing board with…
Devil May Cry for the Nintendo Switch Reveals Capcom’s Greed.
Old habits die hard I guess. Capcom announced that Devil May Cry is arriving on the Nintendo Switch this summer, but there’s a catch: Only the first game in the series is going to be released on the Switch. You heard that right: Only the original Devil May Cry game is going to be released on Switch, not the HD Collection that bundles the first three games of the series. Oh, but it gets even better. Capcom informed USGamer via email some pretty important clarification pertaining to the Devil May Cry release on the Nintendo Switch. Good News: The Switch version of Devil May Cry is being ported from the 2018 release of the HD Remaster Collection, meaning you can expect similar graphical fidelity to the PS4, Xbox One and PC versions. Bad News: Capcom has no plans currently to bring the other titles…
